A quick aside for any UK readers that there is a program on BBC 4 tonight at 9pm called “America in Pictures: The Story of Life Magazine” which looks at some of Life’s famous photos and the photographers behind them. Rankin made a program for the BBC earlier this year, where he re-shot some famous portraits, and talked about the originals, and was an insightful presenter, so I hope this proves as good.

It had to be on UK tv… way to rub it in. First the UK has some of the best mags on anything ‘Apple’ and now this!!!!! 🙂
The BBC seems to have an interest in photography – there’s been some great series on the subject. Do you get BBC programs in the US? I think they have a channel, but you probably only get the most popular dramas.
