I’m still thrown by the seasons and the southern hemisphere!
It’s now September, which means Spring is here. The cherry trees in the Blue Mountains are bursting forth with their blossoms, and the air is filled with the scent of the trees.
Totally great photo of a beautiful event; but these blossoms to me look a lot like “Japanese cherries”. Cherrie blossoms which will produce real edible cherries tend to be white, clustered together and somewhat less spectacular.
I came here in 66 and it still throws me lol
I think the seasons are linked to where you are born.
Ah, well I’ve only been here 5 months, so I’ve got a while to go to acclimatise!
